While Julie found the strong coriander flavor overwhelming, I thoroughly enjoyed the local taste. Sweetie, however, needed some coaxing to finish her meal. Using her favorite doll as motivation, we succeeded—parenting win!

After a quick return to our hotel to organize our luggage for checkout, we headed to the War Remnants Museum. This historical site gave us a sobering glimpse into the realities of the Vietnam War, including its devastating impact on the local population.
