Our day began with a bus ride to the serene and iconic Lotus Temple, a Baháʼí House of Worship known for its unique lotus-shaped design. The scorching Delhi heat, with temperatures climbing above 36°C, didn’t make it easy, but the sight of the temple’s striking architecture was worth every step.
Located in the southern part of Delhi, the Lotus Temple symbolizes unity and openness, reflecting the Baháʼí faith’s principles. As we approached, the glowing white petals of the structure stood out beautifully against the bright blue sky.

A revisit to Haldiram’s for dinner didn’t go as planned, with spicy and overly seasoned dishes reaffirming that Indian flavors don’t always align with our palate. Yet, these experiences are part of the charm of exploring a new culture.
Delhi continues to surprise and challenge us, but with each day, it feels a bit more like home.
