We left our guesthouse about 90 minutes before sunset. The streets of Luang Prabang had become familiar, and we walked at an easy pace, savoring the bustling energy of this serene town. Along the way, we stopped at a small stall to grab sugarcane juice for 5,000 Kip (about $0.60). It’s a local must-try—refreshing, affordable, and Sweetie loved it too!
Passing by stunning temples and the night market setting up for the evening, we reached the base of Mount Phousi. The atmosphere was lively, with travelers and locals alike making their way up to the viewpoint.
